Investing in the future of our city – and especially our young people – has never been more important. Tulsa is growing, building, and designing a place where every child can follow their passions, be part of a thriving community, and create the future they see for themselves.
One of the most important ways we can all work to make that a reality is to invest in our young people. To prepare our students for the road ahead, it takes all of us.
In 2021, the voters of Tulsa showed up in a big way, voting by over 72% for a school bond package that fulfills the promise we hold for our students. That package is nearing completion, and the next bond package – one that does not raise taxes – is being developed now.
We wanted you to be among the first to know: soon, in the spring of 2026, Tulsa Public Schools will ask voters to consider a new package of investments designed to engage our students in new and innovative ways, preparing them to excel in the decades to come – again without any increase in taxes. The investments proposed in the new bond will supercharge what we know works to motivate students and move academic outcomes – engaging young people in ways that are meaningful and relevant to the futures they see for themselves. As we are hearing from you about what matters most, we invite you to take a look at everything YOU did to fulfill our promise with investments from the last 2021 bond issue.
