    2026 Bond package proposed
Last month, district leadership presented our Board of Education with a proposal for a new bond package that - if approved - would go before Tulsa voters in April 2026. The 2026 bond package is designed to help build a future where innovation and access transform our schools into spaces where every student is empowered to dream big, achieve more, and succeed beyond expectations. The proposed bond for nearly $600 million would not raise property taxes for Tulsans, and the majority of funds would go toward career and college readiness programs, school building renovations, safety improvements, and other critical investments in student learning. You can learn more about the proposed package here. More information about the bond propositions will be presented at the next regular meeting of our Board of Education on Monday, December 8 at 5:30pm at the Education Service Center at 3027 S. New Haven Ave. You can also submit your feedback and tell us what is most important to you at www.tulsaschools.org/feedback.

    Inclement weather reminder
As temperatures cool down, and we move into the winter months, we want to remind families how decisions are made around inclement weather. On inclement weather days, the district will announce emergency closings or delays no later than 5am on the impacted day. When possible, we attempt to make the notification by 10pm on the night prior to the weather event. If there is no announcement by 5am on the impacted day, school is in session and district offices are open. In the event of closings or delays, we will notify families via email and text message. We will also post about closings/delays on our website at www.tulsaschools.org and our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/TulsaPublicSchools. You can read more about inclement weather procedures on our website. Please contact your school office or our Enrollment Center if you need to update your contact information.
