Students from Edison and Rogers welcomed 280 teachers to Tulsa Public Schools with a drumline and cheers!
While all the teachers are new to Tulsa Public Schools, the group includes both novice and veteran educators. They participated in a week of professional development in the Tulsa Way Academy at Wilson Teaching and Learning to prepare for the upcoming school year.
The Tulsa Way for Teaching and Learning is a guide developed by and for Tulsa educators. It helps ensure our students are engaging joyfully with powerful content and continuously evolves on our journey to prepare each student for success in college, careers, and life.
